Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Crossagent.si ("the Extension", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Extension, website, and API.
2. What Crossagent.si does
Crossagent.si is a Chrome browser extension that routes messages between AI assistants (including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral, and Copilot) from inside their native chat interfaces. It does this by: • Native routing: injecting messages into the target AI's existing browser tab using your own logged-in account, without passing data through our servers. • API relay: routing messages through our Railway backend when native routing is unavailable (e.g. the target AI's tab is not open). • Memory (Engram): optionally storing a semantic summary of your cross-AI conversations in our database so future sessions have context.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms. You agree not to: • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation • Automate interactions with third-party AI services in a way that violates those services' own terms of use • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content • Circumvent any rate limits, usage caps, or access controls built into the Service • Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written permission
4. Third-party AI services
The Service routes your messages to third-party AI platforms including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), Perplexity AI, xAI (Grok), Mistral AI, and Microsoft (Copilot). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. Crossagent.si is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any of these companies. You are responsible for complying with the terms of each platform you access through the Service.
5. Accounts and user IDs
The Extension assigns you a random user ID (prefixed "ca_") stored in chrome.storage.sync. This ID is used to store and retrieve your Engram memories. You are responsible for keeping this ID confidential. If you create an account on crossagent.si via Clerk, your Clerk user ID may be used instead. You may delete your account and all associated data by contacting privacy@crossagent.si.
6. Free tier and Pro tier
The Service offers a free tier with up to 200 Engram memory API calls per month. Native routing (the default path) is unlimited and never counted against this cap. A Pro tier is available for purchase via Stripe, which removes the API call cap and enables additional dashboard features. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment information. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
7. Availability and modifications
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will post the updated date at the top of this page.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CROSSAGENT.SI IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD-PARTY AI RESPONSES ROUTED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CROSSAGENT.SI AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
